You can over-shoot though so practice it.

Finally you'll need a Bell of Return.

And you'll need to desecrate the last Sanctuary you sat at so the bell will spawn you where you died.

You can desecrate a Sanctuary with a Stained Page.

So once you've got all that down you've just gotta press R1, R2, and X at the same time to long jump and bring up the bell yes or no screen.

Hit "Yes" just before you land and you should respawn on the platform.

It'll take some practice, but if you keep at it you'll get there.
